Spirit: A Celebration of Art in the Heartland. A biennial fund-raising benefit for the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA), the seventh Spirit features for purchase artworks by 50 Nebraska-connected artists. The art selections of the invited artists are on view beginning March 20, 2010 — several weeks before the culminating festive weekend of activities that includes a Patron Reception one evening, a Gala Dinner and Auction the following night, and a casual informal morning gathering on the third day.

Sounds of Summer
Enjoy three summer concerts in MONA's lovely Cliff Hillegass Sculpture Garden - a perfect setting for a summer's eve. Sponsored by the MONA Guild, gates open at 6:00 p.m.; tables and chairs are provided for self-catered picnics. The live music begins at 7:00 and lasts until 9:00. Admission is free however donations are appreciated during intermission's “pass the hat.”

Life is a Cabaret
“Life is a Cabaret” is an annual event held in the Cliff Hillegass Sculpture Garden at the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA). Featuring grand hors d'oeuvres, auction, and live entertainment, proceeds support the MONA Guild in its contributions to the Museum designated for acquisitions, art conservation, education, endowment, and exhibition.“Life is a Cabaret” takes place on September 16, 2010, the third Thursday of September.
A Kaleidoscope of Art: A Benefit Gift Boutique
This annual event gives artists an opportunity to show their special creations and shoppers to purchase gifts for the holiday season. Artists from around the state and beyond display work including: jewelry, ceramics, glass, paper products, and paintings. "Kaleidoscope" is an extension of the MONA Shop, open year-round, which is also fully stocked for the holidays with high quality, unique gifts at reasonable prices.
