Paul Goble is an award winning author and illustrator of children's books. He has given his entire collection of original illustrations to the
South Dakota Art Museum in Brookings, South Dakota. We are grateful to both the artist and the museum for the loan of the works displayed:

Love Flute (1992);
Adopted by the Eagles (1994);
Remaking the Earth (1996);
Return of the Buffalo (1996);
The Legend of the White Buffalo Woman (1998);
and Iktomi and the Coyote (1998).
