Nancy R. Jellico

Born and raised in Georgia, Nancy set out on her own in 1959. Arriving in Denver, Colorado, she hoped to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a professional artistÉand a cowboy! She attended the Colorado Institute of Art and received most of her training from John Jellico, whom she married, and Charlie Dye, a founding member of the Cowboy Artists of America. After over thirty-five years in Denver, Nancy moved to Amelia, Holt County, Nebraska, in late 1994, and has named her "spread" the Spanish Bar Ranch where she maintains her studio and has begun raising fine quarter horses.

Raymond L. Knaub was born and raised in the Gering/Scottsbluff, Nebraska area to parents of German-Russian descent. He received his BFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and did post-graduate work at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He has lived in Denver since 1963 where he is a painter of the mid-west plains and the southwest. As a boy he hiked, hunted and fished along the North Platte River valley and grew to have a deep appreciation for time of year, textures, color and light. His work is held in many private and public collections throughout the world.
