The Museum of Nebraska Art offers educational programs including docent-led tours, artist talks, hands-on workshops, and popular Third Thursday presentations bringing visitors a deeper understanding of the of Nebraska through the art of Nebraska.

 

Mayhem to Marvels (M & M)

Mayhem to Marvels

Children are guided through fun and creative lessons as they explore the magical world of art.
With the exhibition * Some Assembly Required as the focus, participants create a shadow box using a variety of different found objects. Students are encouraged to bring small special objects from home.

Fashion an unconventional book with inspiration
from the exhibition Cover to Cover: Artist Books.

    Mexican-American Christmas Traditions - Learn about the Christmas traditions of the Mexican-American community in this hands-on program that gives insight into a culture with roots in Mexico. Presented by Olga Olivares, Independent Scholar and Family Support Specialist.
